ATTENTION

Greetings Clergy, Social Activist and Friends Of Learn Northeast,

The Reverend Martin Luther King said in his book, Stride Toward Freedom, "If you will protest courageously and yet with dignity and Christian love, when the history books are written in future generations, the historians will have to pause and say, there lived a great people -a black people- who interjected new meaning and dignity into the veins of civilization."

The Life Education and Resource Network, the largest African American pro-life network in America, sent a team of 14 African Americans walking with "dignity and Christian love" to the campus of Fayetteville State College in North Carolina to present the "Black Life Matters" Genocide Awareness Project. Fayetteville State College is a historically black college so it was with great expectation LEARN and the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform, as a team of 8, also walked in dignity and Christian love for an absolutely incredible history-making three days! It was outstanding!

Rev. Dr. Johnny Hunter had the vision to go to Fayetteville State College with the  "Black Life Matters" project after participating in the Washington, DC press conference. LEARN, along with CBR, had a great affect on the students on campus.

Many students thanked us for coming and were shocked by their own misunderstandings on abortion. The students received a new revelation of the personhood of the unborn.

Margaret Sanger's method of using a religious approach to hide her eugenic plot was an insightful one. In our exchanges with hundreds of students, and with the golden opportunity to debate over the campus radio station, it was quite evident faith is still vital in the presentation of the truth in the pro-life debate.  In the final analysis, we see that a very high percentage of the African American students consider their faith as important and that abortion is a violation of their faith.  Hearts were won and opinions changed!

The use of graphic pictures was imperative.  Without them, our trip would have been a failure in comparison to the awesome victory we experienced. Greg Cunningham's vision to produce the signs coincided with my choice to capitalize on the mantra, Black Life Matters, created by the unfortunate deaths of African American males in police custody.  Greg's genius went even further when he created the sign " Abortion Suppresses The Black Vote."  This slogan profoundly neutralized our opposition and, along with the "Black Life Matters" signs, was highly effective in helping students connect the dots.  After viewing the signs, many students sat down and read the pamphlets we were handing out from cover to cover. Thirty students signed up to keep the process permanent on campus and want to get involved in the pro-life movement. We passed out Mark Cruthcher's MAAFA 21 to both students and staff.  One teacher even played it while we were there in their sociology class! I pray this ends the ridiculous debate on the effectiveness of graphic pictures.

Though we took the Genocide Awareness Project to the FAM-U campus five years ago, we did not pledge to start a social activist group on campus. Now, Fayetteville State College has 30 students committed to pro-life activism.  We plan to press on with this project at other historically black colleges. We intend to connect them all through social media and create a culture of life on black college campuses.

Won't you take a moment right now to support this effort? Your donation will launch a new wave of pro-life students of color and help change the political conversation in this nation. Please mail your donation to PO Box 157 Montclair, NJ 07042 and make checks payable to LEARN Northeast. You can also donate online on our website Black Genocide.org.  A special thank you to all who already support our work.

LEARN has been given a season to reach the African American community.  "Black Life Matters" is a gift from God for social activists to use to connect the dots of life in police custody to the womb of the African American Mother.

Thank You In Advance,

Rev. Clenard H. Childress Jr.
