Optelecom-NKF’s Siqura Chosen for Paris Tunnels

The French Transportation department (DIRIF) will install a network of 1,800 cameras in 23 tunnels in the Paris metropolitan area. The cameras will stream MPEG-4 encoded video via Siqura video servers for real-time viewing and recording on Siqura intelligent network video recorders (i-NVRs).

Vicon Reports 23% Net Sales Decrease in 4Q

Vicon announced fourth quarter sales of $15.3 million, down from $19.9 the year prior. Total sales for 2009 were $60.4 million, down 10% from $66.9 in FY 2008. The company’s financial position was somewhat strengthened as it generated $7.1 million. Chairman and CEO Ken Darby reports that the company holds no interest-bearing debt, net tangible equity of $35.4 million, and a working capital ratio of 4.4 to 1.

March Networks Reports $1 million Net Loss

March Networks, a global provider of intelligent IP video solutions, announced second quarter fiscal 2010 revenue was $21.4 million, representing a decrease of 24% as compared to revenue of $28.3 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2009. On a year-to-date basis, the Company’s revenue of $45.4 million declined by 19% as compared to revenue of $56.1 million in the first six months of fiscal 2009.
